Why Vanity Mirrors Are Essential Items

Vanity mirrors, bathroom mirrors, magnifying mirrors-these are just some of the terms used to refer to the small mirror usually found in bathrooms on top of sinks or dressers. By small, we mean smaller than the main mirror - the one you directly look into when you are, say for example, brushing your teeth.

A vanity mirror is usually round in shape; it can either stand on its own or mounted on the wall. It usually has two sides-one side having a vanity mirrors, the other having a magnified mirror. It was made as such so you can look very closely into it, and see your face very clearly.

If you spend a lot of time in the bathroom grooming yourself, you will find a lot of use for a vanity mirror. It does not matter if you are a man on a woman, both sexes will at one time need to look at their face very closely, some more than the other.

A grown man shaves; shaving is sometimes dangerous because you can cut yourself if you do not see where your razor is going. If you have a clear and close view of your face, you can prevent cuts and nicks-all the while having a proper "close shave."

Explaining to a woman why she needs a vanity mirror is like convincing a man he needs a television. It is absurd because it is a given. Most women wear makeup everyday. The application of makeup is a slow and steady process, and it needs to be perfect. A woman will rather miss a meeting than go out with a smudge. Using a mirror that can be adjusted and moved, particularly a magnified one, lessens the chances of that.

Just because they are called vanity mirrors does not mean you are excessively vain. As we have pointed out, these mirrors are very useful and can be used by both men and women. They are very affordable as well, making it even more practical to get one.

A mirror is a mirror; there is no house that has none. A vanity mirror should almost always be one of them.
